I'm willing to bet that you are the only DJ in Dallas that knows who This Heat is, much less plays them. Good stuff.
I was wondering if you ever use turntables. Everytime I see you, you use your laptop. Is there a reason why? I really do dig the music you play, but it seems like if you're going to spin you might try to mix. I'm not being critical. I'm just curious.
he's futuristic!
;O I know who This Heat is! DECEIT!
Nice blog Mwanza. I forgot about that awesome cover Rapeman did of Just got paid. Nice!*
That's a sweet playlist. Hot Snakes, Jesus Lizard, Specials and you played my favorite song from the Art Brut album. keep it up.
Ableton is good for mixing digitally. I could care less if the songs are mixed perfectly though. Also, it's a huge pain in the ass to drag records everywhere, and then you have to have all of your music on vinyl. Say what you want about the sound of digital music, but in a bar atmosphere, you aren't going to notice much difference.
